MASKs saved or modified

USA M1A2-1-1

Found this in a box on my trip to the USA. It was badly rusted and rubber was pitted. treated with non petro oils to restore the rubber and sanded and repainted filter unit. the text of the filter is printed onto a thin metal plate and placed around the filter. All the valves had suffered from dry rot so the valves were removed and replaced with valves from a different mask (same model)

C2-3 canadian mask

experimenting with different removable tints that could be used on older masks by finding coloured glass discs

USA M3 diaphram mask

This started out as a damaged facepiece but after lots of work it now features clean lenses, voicemitter and valves pulled from another mask (of the same model) and a reprodution inlet tube.

Updated- this mask now has a carrier, tube(not original), straps (pulled off a mask of the same model) and the only that it is curently lacking is proper tube and filter

US M12 ammonia mask

found two msa all service masks and resotred the rubber and patched a few holes. to bring it back to life

Polish Wz 32

Not in terrible quality but many pieces needed to be recreated (in preliminary stages only)

M3 diaphram Tanker mask

this mask should not feature an air coupler but  rather have the hose attched directly to an air supply or ONLY a filter

ViKtors prototype C2 (lightweight)

my next project will be to recreate this. picture is not mine
